What would a Digital Media Website look
like? That was the question I was asking
myself when I began this simple one page
website for Cerelink Digital Labs in Corrales,
New Mexico. The website needed to have
a Digital Media look to it, so color theory
was going to be big.. and because it was
going to be a one page website it needed
to have a highly professional look that
was going to capture the visitor immediately.
The result was a highly photoshopped,
high colored background with a little
bit of Wall-E added in and a nice crisp
design.

This was a fun website to design. Kelly Tekin,
one of Albuquerque's
Premier Personal and Sports Trainers was
in bad need of a website makeover. Often times
businesses in Albuquerque and all over the country
are the best in their industry, but their website
speaks otherwise. The web is a graphic medium,
people decide within the first 10 - 15 seconds
of visiting a website whether or not it fits
what they are looking for. If the website is
poorly designed, the only attention your website
will get is from your visitor's "Back Button".
As for Kelly Tekin, she no longer has that problem.
Her website is complete with our featured "Click-to-Call"
system which connects the website visitor immediately
to Kelly Tekin's cell phone for a live phone-to-phone
conversation about her services.

I can't believe this was our first photography
website in Albuquerque! Angela Gaeto is
local photographer specializing in wedding
and family photography in Albuquerque.
She originally came to us with a logo
that was not going to work with her new,
modern design she was envisioning for
her website. Juxtapoze redesigned her
logo into a contemporary, "Armani"
type of look that was simple, yet elegant.
The color palette was inspired from more
of a southwestern, Albuquerque look and
feel that ultimately came together really
nicely. The website exudes professionalism
and portrays her work beautifully.
Angela's website is complete with self-updateable
photo section as well as a really cool
blog that Angela uses to stay up to date
with all of her photography projects.

in Phoenix, Arizona

Every once in awhile we will give the public
a sneak peek at some of the web design projects
we are working on behind the scenes. One of
which is the Perry Monge Salon. Perry Monge
has been a client of Juxtapoze Media for about
3 years and has recently agreed to a redesign
as well as some hefty Search Engine Optimization.
The new design is a new concept we are working
on called the "Print" layout. The
design features similar elements found in Print
media like, large fonts, pronounced white space,
and compartmentalization of layout. One important
aspect of web design that you may not be aware
of is, "Web Visitors Do Not Read",
they simply "Scan" for what they are
looking for in the content of the website. The
"Print" layout accommodates this usability
by drawing the eye's attention to certain words
and phrases through the web page.
